I climb down the slippery, dirty walls of the sewer. I’m lucky that no-one’s at school today. I run through the stinky, murky water, it splashing up my legs. Am I too late already? I can’t be.

The sunlight begins to fade as I sprint through the sewers, weaving through the seemingly endless catacombs. Finally, I find it. The cult. They were chanting in what sounded like Russian

They are startled to see me, but I don’t care.

“Who might this be?” the leader asks, walking to me. He has a lollipop sheathed in his sword-holder. He’s wearing black robes, and a hood covers his head. His voice sounds slightly scratchy.

“Where’s William?” I have to find him before it begins.

The leader laughs, and the other cult members walk to the leader’s side.

“Foolish child.” the leader says. “It has already begun and you cannot stop it.” He draws his lollipop and puts it towards my throat.

I laugh. The lollipop isn’t even sharp. I kick his legs out from underneath him, and he falls to the floor, the lollipop shattering.

The cult runs towards him, and they try to tackle me.

“Go, creations!” the leader calls. “Stop Gavi, let our empire begin!”

The cult people scatter and run through the sewer’s endless paths.

“Now,” I say, reaching for his hood. “Who are you?”

I draw it back, and gasp. Beneath the hood of who I have found out is the Constructor, is Jama.

“What the-“ I stagger back in surprise.

“So you’ve found me out, haven’t you?” Jama says. “It’s too late. William will die and the raccoons will rule!” He laughs.

I run back through the sewers, trying to find William. Where could he be?

A raccoon jumps in front of me, and hisses. It’s the same size as me! It swipes at me, but I run the other way. Another raccoon blocks the path. They both laugh at touch their chests, which are concealed with jackets.

“The,” says the See-and-talk toy from beneath. “Raccoon. Empire. Rule.”

The other one starts to press its’ buttons. “You. Die.”

I run into the one blocking my path and it falls over. I sprint through the sewers. I don’t know how long I run, but eventually I reach a door. I hear voices from behind it.

“DIE!” it calls. A weak groan comes.

A bash into the door, and it reveals a raccoon standing by a faint William, tied to a pole.

It glares at me. “Hello, future slave. Have you come to watch the beginning of the Raccoon Empire?”

It leaps to me, and ties me to the pole where William is. I struggle, but I’m no match for its’ power.

Once its’ finished it goes to a computer and starts to type frantically. I see the Raccoon Post. I see it start to glitch out… no! The raccoon is deleting it! I won’t let it do that.

I struggle, but the ropes won’t break. But I see that in William’s hands, slipping away, is a knife. I take it and cut the ropes. William falls to the ground.

The raccoon doesn’t notice, it’s too busy laughing maniacally at the destruction of our website.

I take the knife and stab the raccoon. He screams.

“YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS!” he wails. “I WILL RETURN!” he fades into nothingness.

I hear the faint call of Jama’s voice. “Bud'te ostorozhny, on vernetsya. Golovolomka ne zakonchena!” Then he says, “Where am I?” Then there’s a faint clunk and a raccoon sniggers, before there’s a hissing sound and silence.

More and more hissing sounds happen. The raccoons are all disappearing, like this one did.

William groans and looks at me. He begins to explain everything. “The raccoon, he- he came from within me. I tried to- to stop him… but he overcame me… he tried to start an army- but… but you stopped him. Thank you.”

He rolls over and groans. “I will not survive. Keep the name of your website “The Raccoon Post” as an honour to my sacrifice.”

I look at him. “But, but can’t I save you?”

“No,” he says. “I am not William. The raccoon possessed me, many years ago. He kidnapped William and replaced me with him.

“William is located in- in your classroom. You will find him where he always is…” He pauses, looks at me and says, “Thank you” one last time before he stops breathing, smiles, and dies.

I leave the room and go to where Jama is. He must’ve been possessed too. I carry his body and take him out of the sewer.

It’s dark now, past midnight. I walk towards 5D, and find William, passed out. I take him and Jama, and begin taking him home.

This is Gavi, telling you the story of how I stopped the raccoon. The RETALIATOR has one last word before he is Gavi once more. Thank you, Fake William.
